Day 1: Begin your adventure from Cusco, traveling through Mollepata to Soraypampa. Highlights include a visit to the Tarawasi archaeological site and a trek to Soraypampa with a stop at Humantay Lake. Overnight at Lodge del Cielo, providing panoramic views of the Humantay Lake glacier.
Day 2: Hike to Salkantay Pass, crossing the White River Valley and circling Humantay Peak. Descend through Wayracmachay to Collpapampa. Overnight at the Lodge del Cielo.
Day 3: Continue the trek through avocado orchards to Lucmabamba, followed by a journey to Cocalmayo and then Aguas Calientes via the hydroelectric station. Overnight at Lodge del Cielo.
Day 4: Hike to Llactapata Pass for a unique view of Machu Picchu. Descend to Aguas Calientes for dinner and a briefing for the Machu Picchu visit.
Day 5: Early bus ride to Machu Picchu for a guided tour, exploring between 6 am and 7 am. Visit The Guardian House and have time for independent exploration.
Day 6: Tour of Machu Picchu Sanctuary, delving into the history and significance of this iconic site.
1. Humantay Lake:
