Designed for adventurous travelers, this short yet spectacular trek combines stunning landscapes, rich biodiversity, and a deep connection to the Andean wilderness.
You’ll hike past the majestic Salkantay Mountain—one of the highest and most iconic peaks in Peru—and descend through lush cloud forests and scenic valleys. Enjoy a magical overnight stay at our Chaullay campsite, surrounded by nature and starry skies.
The journey ends with a guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring circuit 2A or 2B (depending on availability), where you'll discover the fascinating history and architecture of the Inca citadel.

Pre-departure briefing and assistance. The night before your trip, you will attend an orientation session at our office with our staff.

First aid kit and oxygen tank. All our guides are trained in first aid, rescue, and evacuation protocols. Each guide carries emergency equipment, including an oxygen tank, and in the case of serious incidents, we ensure a fast evacuation to the nearest medical center.
Private camping equipment. We provide lodging in our private campsites, and all camping gear such as dining tables, chairs, and kitchen equipment is carried by our muleteers.
Duffel bag for personal belongings. You will receive a duffel bag before the trek to pack your personal items. The weight limit is 7 kg / 15.4 lb per person.

Both mountains are high, but they differ significantly in character. Huayna Picchu rises to 2,720 m / 8,924 ft and features a nearly vertical ascent with narrow and steep trails. In contrast, Machu Picchu Mountain stands at 3,000 m / 9,843 ft, around 650 meters above the citadel. The trail to the summit is longer and more demanding but wider and more accessible for most hikers. However, caution is advised due to altitude and weather conditions.
